Niagara Region’s Jeannette Beauregard and Diane Thomson share experiences with keeping seniors moving through physical and recreational activity. Great suggestions and examples of home and community-based activity to improve strength, stamina and balance.

Para-Athlete Panel
Four Niagara parasport athletes motivate with stories of inclusion and importance of community: Chris Garner (pargolfer), Tess Trojan (Special Olympian), Amber Briar (para-fencer) and Julian Caverley (sledge hockey and boccia).

Adapted Dance
Elisha MacMillan, founder of Rhythm is for Everyone uses rhythm and movement to improve physical and emotional well-being. Join in this drum and dance experiences to meet your diverse needs and abilities.

Adapted Yoga
Every body is different in shape, ability and strength. Robynn Nierop of Imagine Yoga and Wellness shows you how to work with your body, not against it, with adapted yoga practice.

Disability Literacy 101
Inclusion champions Tracy Schmitt, Archie Allison and Jeff Tiessen, share their lived-experience to take participants on an authentic journey into diversity and inclusion education. Great for municipal seasonal/summer recreation staff.
